MASTERPIECE Studio Wins Four 2026 Signal Awards

A great morning to wake up and discover that the Signal Awards had bestowed not one, not two, not three, but FOUR awards on MASTERPIECE Studio:

• a bronze award in the Companion Podcast category for our interview with All Creatures Great and Small’s Gaia Wise,

• a bronze award in the Individual Episode: Television & Film category for our interview with The Forsytes’ legendary Susan Hampshire,

• the Listener’s Choice award for our documentary episode on the 250th birthday of Jane Austen…

• and a gold award (!!!) for our episode on the 250th birthday of Jane Austen, which featured me discussing the life, legacy, and death of Jane Austen with such luminaries as historian and television presenter Lucy Worsley, Miss Austen novelist Gill Hornby, screenwriter Andrew Davies, and MASTERPIECE Senior Series Producer Erin Delaney.

Thanks to everyone at MASTERPIECE, and especially my talented team for all of their support and encouragement. I’m truly honored to take home four awards this year, especially for our celebration of Jane Austen’s legacy.
