MASTERPIECE Studio Receives One Webby Nomination, Two Honorable Mentions — Including for Best Film & TV Podcast

On this grey and rather chilly spring day, it was particularly heartwarming to wake up to discover that the MASTERPIECE Studio podcast had been nominated for a Webby Award in the Arts & Culture — Individual Episodes category for our episode on the 250th birthday of Jane Austen, an episode that featured me discussing the legacy of one of the world’s most beloved and acclaimed novelists (who received little celebrity during her life) with such luminaries as Lucy Worsley, Andrew Davies, Gill Hornby, and others.

We were also chuffed to discover that we were named an honoree in the Film & TV — Individual Episode category for my interview with Hugh Bonneville for The Gold… and MASTERPIECE Studio was named an honoree overall in Best Film & TV Podcast category, which is an exceptional honor, considering this year’s nominations for the likes of the official companion podcasts for Severance (Apple TV), Hacks (HBO Max), and Wednesday (Netflix).
